BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

School of Business aims to produce high quality graduates who will be able to place themselves in top ranked positions in local and global companies. The school offers both undergraduate and post graduate programs. At the undergraduate level, the School offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a four-year program which prepares students to excel in challenging business environments or in higher academic studies. School of Business combines best practices from academia and industry to and seeks to impart contemporary business practices to its graduates.



ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 both in SSC and HSC examinations or equivalent,
  • Or At least one GPA of 2.00 but aggregate GPA of 6.00 in SSC and HSC,
  • Or O'Level in 5 subjects with a minimum GPA 2.50 & A'Level in 2 subjects with a minimum GPA 2.00 (A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1)
  • Or Sons/daughters of freedom fighters with an aggregate GPA of 5.00 in SSC and HSC.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For Admission into MBA program, a candidate must satisfy the following requirements:
Minimum bachelor degree (15 years of education or 14 years of education with 6 or more years of corporate experience) with at least 2nd class/division obtained or CGPA of 2.50 out of 4 at every level of education. An applicant must pass the admission test consisting of a written test and an interview.

A student may also be required to take non-credit, remedial courses in English to make up his/her deficiency.

The foundation courses are offered to the students who have completed a bachelor degree from any discipline, other than a 4-years Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)/ 3-year Bachelor of Business Degree from any of the following foreign countries: (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Z Land, Malaysia and Thailand).

Students who have completed similar courses at their undergraduate or graduate levels from recognized institutions are eligible for waiver of a maximum of 24 credit hours from the foundation level courses. A waiver decision will be made upon a student's admission to the program. A student may apply for a maximum of 24 credit hours to be transferred to CUB if he/she has completed similar graduate level courses at other recognized institutions. Students may also be eligible for course waiver up to 3 credit hours of internship if they have two years uninterrupted full-time work experience. At least 30 credit hours must be completed at CUB for the degree (residency requirement). The decision of the university is final on the issue of waiver or transfer of credit.
